October 30, 2022:<\/span> Halloween activities<\/span><\/p>\n

November 13, 2022:<\/span> Test 3 (Adv KG, Grades 2 – 8), Term 1 ends. The last date to submit late or missing work for term 1.<\/span><\/p>\n

Assembly: <\/b>The school will start with an assembly session at <\/span>9:45 AM<\/b> behind the building.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Attendance:<\/b> Attendance is a critical component of our grading system as you all should know. The attendance officer will mark attendance during the live classroom session. Arriving after the assembly or leaving before 11.15 am will be marked as tardy. Don\u2019t forget that 100% attendance for the academic year is recognized at the year’s end.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

STA Tamil Theni (Spelling bee) Competition: <\/b>School-level competition is set for Nov 6th (after school)<\/span>. <\/b>All registered students should receive a confirmation email, FAQ, word list, & other details from our schools\u2019 Tamil theni coordinator, Mr. Swaminathan. If there are any queries, please contact the STA Tamil Theni team through <\/span>tamiltheni@sactamilacademy.org<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Textbooks:<\/b> Books for grades 6-8 & pending story books for lower grades were distributed last week. Please check with the school administration team if you have not yet received the textbooks or storybooks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Parking, & drop-off: <\/b>Limited parking is available at our school location, 650 Willard Dr, Folsom, CA. Parents can park at 1835 Prairie City Rd, Folsom, CA 95630, and enter the school assembly area through the side entrance if the parking lot is full. See the map below. Parents can also choose to drop off their kids at the entrance. Please follow the instructions from our traffic & security officers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

COVID-19 safety check:<\/b> We\u2019d like to remind you to perform a daily symptom check on your child before sending them to school and keep them at home if they feel ill for any reason. With your support, we can reduce exposure to COVID-19 and other illnesses to protect our school community. Face coverings are recommended for students & individuals on the school campus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At-home COVID-19 tests:<\/b> All should have received a free at-home CoVID-19 test kit. We still have a few left and if anyone wants them, feel free to stop by our front office. FDA has extended the expiration dates for these COVID-19 test kits. See here: <\/span>iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test (9-to-12-month extension)<\/span><\/a>. The lot code we supplied, 221CO20214, is valid till Feb 13, 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
