We want the corridors to be free of congestion to prevent any safety issues\/incidents. Also, please avoid entering the classrooms when the classes are NOT in session.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n TVA Information Session: <\/b>Mr. Chakara, our TVA coordinator will host a TVA information session on Sunday, September 11th at 11:30 AM. Interested parents and students can join.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n COVID-19 safety check:<\/b> We\u2019d like to remind you to perform a daily symptom check on your child before sending them to school and to keep them at home if they are feeling ill for any reason. With your support, we can reduce exposure to COVID-19 and other illnesses to keep our school community safe. Face coverings are recommended for students & individuals on the school campus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n At-home COVID-19 tests:<\/b> All should have received a free at-home CoVID-19 test last week. We still have a few left and if anyone wants them, feel free to stop by our front office tomorrow. FDA has extended the expiration dates for these COVID-19 test kits. See here: <\/span>https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/media\/158007\/download<\/span><\/a> For the lot code we supplied, 221CO20214, they are valid till Feb 13, 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n If your student (or the volunteer) receives a positive test result, please do the following:<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Parking, & drop-off: <\/b>Limited parking is available at our school location, 650 Willard Dr, Folsom, CA. If the parking lot\u00a0 is full, parents can park at 1835 Prairie City Rd, Folsom, CA 95630, and enter the school assembly area through the side entrance. See the map below. Parents can also choose to use the drop-off methods. Please follow the instructions from our traffic & security officers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Assembly & Class assignment: <\/b>The school will start with an assembly session at <\/span>9:45 AM<\/b> behind the building. Please plan to arrive early to find parking and identify your class assembly line and room. We advise you to use the side gate to enter the assembly area. The class teacher and room assignments can be found in your catamilacademy.org parent account.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Textbooks:<\/b> Students should bring their textbooks to class every week. Along, with that, we request all students to bring a 1 subject notebook, pencil, and erasers. Almost all the students in grades pre-school to 5 received their textbooks on the 1st week of school. If you were absent until now, please reach out to the school principal to collect your textbooks. Some students may not have received their story books. We will supply them once they are available. Books for grades 6-8 are not available yet. Please use the online textbooks for now. Textbooks are available through the catamilacademy.org parent login [Parent Access > Child Resources Info, look for the textbook column\/icon at the end]<\/span><\/p>\n Attendance:<\/b> Attendance is a critical component of our grading system as you all should know. The attendance officer will mark attendance during the live classroom session. Arriving after 10.15 am or leaving before 11.15 am will be marked as Tardy.
