We hope this email finds you and your family healthy and safe. All of us at Sacramento Tamil Academy are excited to see your student\u00a0 tomorrow, Sunday, August 21, 2022, for the first day of school.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n To help our school get a healthy start, we\u2019d like to remind you to please perform a daily symptom check on your child prior to sending them to school and to keep your child at home if they are feeling ill for any reason. With your support, we can reduce exposure to COVID-19 and other illnesses to keep our school community safe. Face coverings are recommended for students & individuals on the school campus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Assembly & Class assignment: <\/b>The school will start with an assembly session at <\/span>9:45 AM<\/b> behind the building. Please plan to arrive early to find parking and identify your class assembly line and room. We advise you to use the side gate to enter the assembly area. The class teacher and room assignments can be found in your catamilacademy.org parent account. We will also have that information posted adjacent to the assembly area.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Textbooks:<\/b> School will supply the textbooks. We request all students to bring a 1 subject notebook, pencil, and erasers. Grades preschool1 through 5 will get their textbooks tomorrow at the school. Grades 6-8 should receive their textbooks by the 1st week of September. Textbooks are also available through the catamilacademy.org parent login [Parent Access > Child Resources Info, look for the textbook column\/icon at the end]<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Attendance:<\/b> Attendance is a critical component of our grading system as you all should know. The attendance officer will mark attendance during the live classroom session. Arriving after 10.15 am or leaving before 11.15 am will be marked as Tardy.
