There will be no make-up tests available for the final exam after <\/span>May 8, 2022<\/span><\/b>. Please reach out to your class teacher to discuss alternate options, if you can not make it to the final exam.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Graduation\/15th year anniversary celebrations:<\/b> Our school\u2019s graduation & 15th year anniversary celebration is on <\/span>May 14, 2022<\/span><\/b> at<\/span> Lew Howard Park, 7001 Baldwin Dam Rd, Folsom, CA.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n Parking is available at the park but at limited capacity. So, if possible please carpool. And please don’t park in <\/span>no parking<\/span><\/i> zones. In case parking is not available at the park, residential street parking is available at Foxridge Dr, Simmons Way, and Woodview Dr. We may have volunteer shuttle service from the intersection of Baldwin Dam Rd\/Simmons Way to the park entrance at certain times.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Here\u2019s a high-level event timeline:<\/span><\/p>\n 8:00 AM <\/b>– Volunteers arrive<\/span><\/p>\n 9:30 AM<\/b> – Event gathering, registration, collection of lunch ticket coupons for all who have registered for lunch.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 9:45-11:45 AM<\/b> – Carnival<\/span><\/p>\n 11:45 AM-12:45 PM<\/b> – Lunch\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 12:45 PM<\/b> – Student seating for Graduation<\/span><\/p>\n 1:00 – 3:30 PM<\/b> – Graduation event<\/span><\/p>\n Graduation day lunch: <\/b>Reservations are closed. Last date to order your lunch was May 6th 2022. If there are any changes to your participation, please update your reservation through eventbrite.com<\/span><\/p>\n Teacher and Volunteer appreciation weekends – May 7\/8 – May 14, 2022:<\/b><\/p>\n Join us in celebrating our wonderful teachers and volunteers this and the next weekend. These volunteers and teachers spend their biggest resource available, i.e. “TIME” to educate, develop & enrich our student’s proficiency in Tamil language.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Here are some fun ways to show our appreciation through the next two weekends. The ideas are suggestions and optional.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n May 7-8th:<\/b>\u00a0 Show your appreciation to your Tamil teacher with a flower. Be creative, make it out of a paper or draw it & send a picture. Also, wear your teacher’s favorite color.<\/span><\/p>\n May 14th:<\/b> Choose 1-2 special people like your Teacher, Principal(s), Attendance officer, Librarian, Food coordinator, book officer, etc. Send in a thank you note or a special gift through some home made cards, store bought cards or gift cards!<\/span><\/p>\n 15th year T-shirt distribution: <\/b>Last collection event for our schools\u2019 15th year anniversary T-shirts was on <\/span>Apr 24th, 2022<\/b>. If you have not picked up your T-shirts, please reach out to the school Principal by email\/phone. Contact information is listed at the bottom of this circular.<\/span><\/p>\n Upcoming important dates\/events:<\/b><\/p>\n May 08 2022: Final exam<\/b><\/p>\n May 14 2022: Graduation & Annual day<\/b><\/p>\n Class participation, instruction method & engagement: <\/b>Students are strongly encouraged to participate and engage on their own during the instructional time. Parents’ help in setting up the student\u2019s instructional environment, including the technological help\/aid and making it distraction free is appreciated. However, Parents should not prompt or assist students when teachers are engaged with their students. This may impact teacher\u2019s instructional methods and student evaluation process.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n For security reasons, all students & teachers must join or access the content and meeting ONLY through the authorized sactamilacademy.org Google workspace.
